With Tuscany, you can have four different homepage versions:
Tuscany comes with a full Visual Composer integration, which means you can even use sections from one homepage on other homepages.
In order to set up any of the predefined homepage templates, you need to go to Pages > Add New and under the Templates section select the appropriate template. After publishing the page, go to Settings > Reading and select Static Homepage. Select your homepage template in the dropdown menu as shown on the screenshots below:
Once you do that, you will need to go to Theme Options to set up the rest of the homepage.
Theme Options > General Settings
One of the first things you will want to do is to add links for your social media profiles. In order to do that, go to Theme Options > General Settings and use the Social Icons drag and drop builder to set up your social media profiles:
You need to add the title, code for the icon and the link for every social media profile. The code for the icon is actually a font code from Font Awesome. You can find all the codes here: Font Awesome.
You can add unlimited number of links by simply clicking Add Slide. You can also delete any link you want by clicking Delete. In order to reorder the links / icons simply use the drag and drop feature and reorder the links as you want.
Uploading your logo
In order to upload your logo, go to Theme Options > General Settings > Header Settings.
You will need to upload your logo to a particular page, depending on what homepage template you have chosen.
- If you chose Main Homepage or the Revolution Homepage template, you need to upload a dark PNG logo in the Logo section
- If you decided to go with the Video Homepage template, you need to upload a light PNG logo in the Logo Light section
- And finally, if you are using the Woody Homepage template, you need to upload your logo under the Logo Ribbon section.
Changing Header background (Homepage Main or Homepage Revolution)
If you want to change the texture on your header, go to Theme Options > General Settings > Header Settings and upload a pattern image under the Header Texture section.
At this moment footer is not widget-ready, but we are working on it and it should be available very soon. In order to set up your footer, go to Theme Options > General Settings > Footer Settings and enter all the necessary details.
Adding Video to Homepage Video Template
If you decided to go with the Video Homepage Templates, you will need to go to Theme Options > Home Settings to add your video. You will also be able to add the rest of the content that goes over the video. Check out how we set it up:
